چکیده
The inviscid limit for the two-dimensional compressible viscoelastic equations in half plane is considered under no-slip boundary condition. When initial deformation tensor a perturbation of identity matrix and density near positive constant, we establish uniform estimates solutions to flows conormal Sobolev spaces. It well-known that corresponding Navier-Stokes with condition, one does not expect energy due appearance strong layers. However, when effect taken into account, our results show plays an important role vanishing viscosity process can surprisingly prevent formation As result are able justify viscous condition governed by equations, based on regularity achieved this paper.

The Navier-Stokes equations for the motion of compressible, viscous fluid flows with the no-slip boundary condition
The Navier-Stokes equations for the motion of compressible, viscous fluids in the half-space R+ with the no-slip boundary condition are studied. Given a constant equilibrium state (ρ̄, 0), we construct a global in time, regular weak solution, provided that the initial data ρ0,u0 are close to the equilibrium state when measured by the norm |ρ0 − ρ̄|L∞ + |u0|H1 and discontinuities of ρ0 decay near ...
متن کاملAsymptotic Behavior of the 3D Compressible Euler Equations with Nonlinear Damping and Slip Boundary Condition
The asymptotic behavior as well as the global existence of classical solutions to the 3D compressible Euler equations are considered. For polytropic perfect gas P ρ P0ρ , time asymptotically, it has been proved by Pan and Zhao 2009 that linear damping and slip boundary effect make the density satisfying the porous medium equation and the momentum obeying the classical Darcy’s law. In this paper...
متن کاملMicrofluidics: The No-Slip Boundary Condition
The no-slip boundary condition at a solid-liquid interface is at the center of our understanding of fluid mechanics. However, this condition is an assumption that cannot be derived from first principles and could, in theory, be violated. In this chapter, we present a review of recent experimental, numerical and theoretical investigations on the subject. The physical picture that emerges is that...

متن کاملBeyond the no-slip boundary condition.
This paper offers a simple macroscopic approach to the question of the slip boundary condition to be imposed upon the tangential component of the fluid velocity at a solid boundary. Plausible reasons are advanced for believing that it is the energy equation rather than the momentum equation that determines the correct fluid-mechanical boundary condition. The scheme resulting therefrom furnishes...
